Charles Poole
Attorney
Charles completed his undergraduate studies in 1984 at Old Dominion University in Virginia, majoring in political science. He received his juris doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law. Charles is a partner at PHE and practices criminal defense in Yadkin, Surry, Wilkes and Davie County. Charles enjoys golfing, traveling with his wife, Patty, and spending time with his grandson, Jones.
Kolby Epley
Attorney
Kolby graduated from College of Charleston in 2011 with a B.A. in Communications. While a student at the College of Charleston, Kolby was a 4-year letter winner on the baseball team. He received his juris doctorate from Charleston School of Law in 2013 and upon passing the bar, moved back home to North Carolina where he became a partner at PHE, PLLC. Kolby lives in Lewisville with his wife, Erin, and their baby boy, Kasey.
Skylar Hudspeth
Attorney
Skylar graduated from Appalachian State University in 2014 with a BS in Criminal Justice. She received her juris doctorate from Campbell University School of Law in 2017 and was subsequently barred in North Carolina. She now practices real estate in Yadkin County at PHE Law. She lives in lives in Elkin with her husband Hugh and their two cats.
Katelyn Coffman
Certified Paralegal
Katelyn received her associate degree from Surry Community College in 2019. Katelyn is a N.C. State Bar certified paralegal, completing her certification through Surry’s paralegal program. Katelyn has been at PHE Law since November 2017. She lives in Boonville with her husband Kyler, little girl Emersyn, and their new dog River.
Zurit Marmolejo
Paralegal
Zurit joined the PHE Law team in 2022. She graduated from Surry Community College in 2013 with an associate degree in Paralegal Technology. Zurit is completely fluent in English and Spanish and looks forward to using these skills as she helps others in the community navigate our legal system.
During her free time, Zurit enjoys spending time with her dogs and traveling to new places.
